Savannah Book Project
I’m working on releasing a coffee table book on Savannah by mid or the end 2009. I’ve finished the first portion of the photos, but will be returning to take more in the near future. This time around I want to concentrate on the food, people, superstitions, possibly the industries of fishing and handcrafts and back roads. This isn’t going to be a tourist guide, but a book about Savannah’s since of place. I would love to hear your thoughts on this project, but I can’t give too much information away. I’m always interested in hearing stories and getting input on new ideas to include in book. I’m also happy to give credit in the acknowledgments to the stories and ideas that I use. Some of the photos are posted on my website under travel at www.johnstonphotos.org. I look forward to hearing from you and your ideas.
Walking Savannah and Beyond is due out in mid to late 2009.The book contains photos and some great writing about the things to see and do in Savannah and its outer areas.
